Manhattanhenge 2026

West 79th street, between Amsterdam and Broadway, 8:15 PM, July 11.

Standing in a crowd in the middle of 79th Street in Manhattan, looking west, towards the setting sun. Rays of brilliant red light spill between buildings, trees, and low, distant clouds. Lots of people are also holding up their phone-cameras to capture this annual spectacle.
