Our XBL data is still wonky
If you've been trying to register for an account but were being told that your Xbox Live Gamertag isn't valid, please accept my apologies and my request that you give it another go. I just discovered a problem with the XBL user datasource we're using, where it sometimes decides to treat every single gamertag you ask it about as invalid. When that's in effect, you can't register for an account here. Bummer.
I have shut off this restriction while I seek alternate ways to confirm gamertags' validity. So please try again, but type those Gamertags in carefully!
